What does it mean to live a fulfilled life?
We have an image of the life we want to live in our heads. We keep searching for the path to get there. What if we had the ability to achieve it by changing the way we think?
Eric Teplitz, joins me today. He is a writer and as he calls himself a Life Enthusiast Helping Others Live More Fulfilling Lives. We will discuss the blocks we have when it comes to making those changes.
Anxiety, fear and worry, especially following any type of life challenge can pull you into a spiral that not only affects your mind, but also your physical body. Sometimes our defense is to fall back on what is familiar or to distract ourselves. We go through checking boxes or on autopilot much of the time. Keeping so busy to avoid addressing issues that we don’t want to face.
You have the opportunity to author an incredible life no matter your circumstances. Open yourself up to the possibilities that are out there. What do you desire?
Are you willing to set aside your old habits and thoughts to explore new perspectives and experience that successful journey?
“If you don’t take the time to be deliberate about checking in with yourself and determining for yourself what your values are and what your priorities are and what actually feels fulfilling to you and what matters most to you. If you don’t decide these things for yourself you will simply be carried away by the tides of our society and society will dictate to you and tell you oh you’re supposed to do what everyone else is doing and here it is.”
Eric truly has a gift of words and expression. His peaceful calming voice guides us to see the greater possibilities that we have in front of us. He is passionate about helping others open themselves up to a more expansive sense of what is possible; overcome resistance to following their interests, passions, curiosities, and dreams; and achieve a greater sense of meaning, purpose, and fulfillment.
When you control the distractions and choose to make changes in how you see your life, you open up to so many possibilities. You need to be honest with yourself. From there you will gain clarity and a greater sense of living purposefully. You find your success.
I liked the way Eric explained how his journaling practice helps him when it comes to getting in tune and exploring his feelings. He creates this sacred time to be still and go within for answers. He gave us a great list of journal styles to work from as we go on this new adventure in life.
You have to choose to author an incredible life to have a successful journey.
