You have been given a second chance at life. Now what do you want to do with it?
We’ve all been told not to judge a book by its cover. But what if you could actually see inside the story? A good storyteller knows how to tell a story with emotion. They use words to make us feel something, and find a way to connect with people through it.
My guest Kim Sorrelle is the author of two books. In her first book, “Cry Until You Laugh”, she shares her experience as she and her husband battle cancer after being diagnosed just four months apart. Her second book, Love Is, chronicles her year-long quest to figure out the true meaning of love. She will let us into her world of discovery and she relives the moments in her life that lead her to this life changing and enlightening journey.,
This episode will touch your heart if you are a cancer survivor or someone close to you has been through this fight. Find your new life through love and transformation.
“Knowing love, understanding love and living it. Understanding that is not a feeling. I think we think of love and immediately we go to couples. We go to romance and love is for everybody. Of course it’s not just couples, but it is not just a feeling, it is who you are, who you can be. You can be love to others. It’s walking, talking, breathing, moving. It’s doing. Love is so much more.”
Kim’s focus on how to survive and thrive after cancer diagnosis was truly amazing. Her explanation about life transformation and blessings that come from those experiences was incredible to hear because she shared deep down her connection to life. She shared her touching moments with her husband and how she got through that fight. Making decisions to change, going through a life experience and deciding that now is the time to live the life you desire is exactly what she did. She shares the moments that were scary, funny and enlightening.
